General Knockout Competition Rules

Format
All matches are played as match play.
All matches must be played off the white tees.
If a match is tied after 18 holes, players must continue with sudden death starting again at the 1st hole.

Handicaps
Singles: The player with the lowest course handicap plays off scratch. The other player receives the full difference in shots.
Pairs: All players play off their course handicaps. The player with the lowest handicap overall plays off scratch. All other players receive the difference relative to that player.

Match Deadlines
Matches must be played by the round deadline.
If not completed in time, the result will be decided by a coin flip.
Extensions will be considered, but will only be granted in extenuating circumstances.

Concessions
Gimmies and concessions are allowed at any time.
Once a putt or hole is conceded, it stands.

Disputes
Any disputes will be referred to the committee, whose decision is final.

Reporting Results
The winning player or team must report the result in the Knockout WhatsApp group.

WhatsApp Group
Players or teams no longer in the competition will be removed from the group.
