Round-up from the 2022 Captains Drive-in

Well that was a nice start to my season!! I have to thank everyone that both signed up and attended today. Appreciate two couldn’t play, it seems our Chairman’s sand surfing isn’t up to his golf skills!!
I will take the accolade for one for the best tee shots 😂😂
Many thanks to the Craig/Dip and his staff, it hasn’t been easy for them but you can see the improvements on the course!!
Also thanks to the hotel that kindly donated the money for the bacon rolls to the charity.
I would like it noting that only a couple of drops of rain fell and some snow!!!
The generosity of this club and members is amazing, which was shown today.
Congrats to Nicola Carr/ Shawn Carr/Gaz (I can’t count) Roberts and Andy Boardman for a class win. Tight results with only 7 shots between the winners and last team.
It was a great start to the charity which raised over £600 for the first event,
