October 4 Club Special & Winter Rules Update

Hey everyone!

This month’s special event is the 4 Club Competition on 26th October, starting at 8:36 am. Entries are now open on BRS, so if you’ve already booked an earlier tee time but would like to play, please cancel your previous booking and jump into one of the competition slots.

For those unfamiliar, 4 Club means you’ll be playing the course with only 4 clubs—one of which must be a putter—off the yellows and in a stableford format. So, choose wisely and get your entries in!

Winter Rules Now in Effect

As of now, Winter Rules are fully in play. Here’s a quick refresher:

• Fairways: Mark, pick, clean, and replace—not closer to the hole, with a max of 6 inches (cue the innuendo!).
• Rough: The ball must be plugged to take relief. If not, play it as it lies. If it is plugged, mark, clean, and drop not nearer the hole.
