Changes to Competition Sign in

welcome back to competition golf,

After the first weekend there are clearly a few issues that need ironing out. Appreciate that we really haven’t experienced the impact of the World Handicap System until now.

Following this first week back we have decided to make a few changes to how we manage competitions moving forward.

1. You will now be required to sign in for competitions via the Touchscreen in the pro shop or via HowDidIDO. We will no longer be registering for competitions with Pro Shop Staff

  • ●  This will make the competition sign in, the same process you use to sign in for casual rounds. We had quite a few members over the weekend who tried to sign on on the app and touchscreen for the competition simply because this is what is required to register a Casual round
  • ●  This will enable us to confirm who has registered for a competition allowing us to close out a competition more quickly.
  • ●  If you have any issues on the day, Rob and his team have offered to assist anyone with registering or entering scores2. If any of the following criteria are not met, you will be given a DQ
  • ●  Competition payment not made online or with pro shop
  • ●  You have not signed for competition via touchscreen or HowDidIDo
  • ●  You have not submitted a scorecard via touchscreen or HowDidIDoThis is the really important thing to do as scores have to be entered by end of the comp day. Shawn has again helpfully shown all the options available.
    There were a number of players who didn’t do this through the weekend. I will chase up on this occasion but any further non score entries will result in Disqualification from the comp. WHS deals with DQ in a different way to the old system and it is not in your favour if this happens!!To summarise, here are the three key steps for competitions Pay
