Pairs Yellow Bonus Stableford – What to Expect Tomorrow

Ahead of tomorrow’s competition, just wanted to provide a quick update to let you know what to expect.

When you arrive at the Pro Shop, there’s no need to sign in on the touchscreen, as we will already have pre-registered anyone who has confirmed they are playing.

At the Pro Shop, each team will receive:

• A scorecard (already filled in),
• A sheet with the rules (also included below),
• And your yellow golf ball, which will be used as your bonus ball.

I’ll be arriving at the Pro Shop around 7:30 AM with everything ready to go — scorecards, rule sheets, and yellow balls.

Our first tee time is 7:56 AM, and after the round we’ll meet at Tawny’s for the prize presentation.

Two Ball Yellow Bonus Stableford – Quick Rules

• Format: Two Ball Stableford – both players’ points count on every hole.
  (e.g., 2pts + 3pts = 5 team points)
• Each team is given one yellow ball.
• Yellow Ball Bonus:
  On any hole completed with the yellow ball,
  subtract one shot from your score before applying your Stableford points.
  (e.g., if you took 5 shots, record it as 4 shots. The Stableford score for that hole will be based off the 4 shots.)
• The bonus applies to any completed hole with the yellow ball.
  If the yellow ball is lost, it’s out of play.
  Bonus points will count up to the point it is lost.
• The yellow ball must be used a minimum of 9 times per player
  (unless the ball is lost before reaching 9 uses).
• Circle the score made with the yellow ball on each hole.
• This is a non-qualifying round, however, you are welcome to independently declare your score on MYEG.
  Enter your scores on the touchscreen or HowDidIDo using the adjusted (minus one) score when the yellow ball was in play.
• Hand your scorecard to a committee member after the round.
• Prizegiving at Tawny’s – prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
